Cold Robot

Cold Robot is a recorded album born from something I thought was gone forever.

While going through old audio files I believed had been deleted, I found recordings from my friend Dion that passed away years ago. As I was cleaning up the files to pass along to his mother, I began to feel his energy again.

After finishing Self-Titled, I started writing and recording from that feeling. The result is a ten-track follow-up that attempts to channel the spirit that Dion brought into everything he did.

Dion was young, flashy, provocative, fearless, and full of personality. He very much had a different energy from my own. Cold Robot reflects that contrast.

The name of the project comes from a clothing line Dion dreamed up when he was just a kid. Before any of this became a project, Cold Robot was his idea. This album is my way of bringing a piece of that idea back to life.
